We love brunch. It's always at a reasonable time- not too early, not too late- and there are always the BEST food options. Stacks is a new breakfast/lunch place in Irvine that has gotten some rave reviews lately so we decided we needed to give it a try. They have an expansive assortment of food: waffles, omelets, french toast, etc. The restaurant is Hawaiian-inspired so there are plenty of fresh options that include ingredients such as macadamia nuts and kalua pork. Lemme tell you, it was awesome.
Our friend, Kristina, came along and we decided to each get a different item and try them all! Pictured here are the oreo cookie n' cream belgian waffle, kalua pork eggs benedict, and the captain mac nut french toast. My personal favorite was the french toast but all were superb.
As you can see, we were all stoked. Tip: on the weekends it gets pretty busy at around 10am and since its really small, I'd get there early to beat the rush. We got there around 9:30 and there was no line but we were surprised to see how quickly it filled up in half an hour. We haven't made it back for the lunch options yet but are definitely planning on it. So good!
