Summer is around the corner and everyone is obsessing about “the perfect beach body”, especially here in Southern California where the weather gets nice, and stays nice, for an extended period of time. Though I don’t believe that there is a perfect body and you certainly don’t need to look a certain way to wear a swimsuit, I know that I like to look my best and feel confident when I am hanging out on the beach. Not only are abs the first thing people want when it comes to a bikini body, your core is a hugely important stabilizing muscle for functionality in general. So whether you’re here for a good workout, for your health, or to get some nice tone for bikini season, here’s an ab-burning workout you can do at home, no weights required.
Do each exercise for 30 seconds to 1 minute. I usually do 3 exercises in a row and then take a 30 second rest. Depending on your fitness level, do what is best for you! Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
I love this workout because you can really customize a few simple movements into a workout of your own. Do anywhere from 3 to 5 rounds of each part, vary the length of time, use household items for weights if you would like, add incline or decline to the planks! I like to do this in the last 10 minutes of my workout, after I have lifted or done cardio. You can get a great, quick workout from doing it once start to finish if you’re crunched for time. No excuses!
